LEVELED WORD ASSESSMENT

Directions:

Ask each student to read each word as it appears on the screen. The assessment will stop when the student misses two words in a row. At the end of the assessment, you will receive a recommended level to begin the leveled Guided Reading Assessment and a printable table of the words that your student read correctly and incorrectly.

If you are assessing a student remotely with Zoom, use advanced share and position your screen to display only the words and not the scoring portion of the screen. Press the √ for each correct response and the - for each incorrect response. At the end of the assessment, you will be able to print out a complete list of the words the student identified.
